Spaghetti Man by Paul Mccarthy

Just a quick post for all of those who remember when the above sculpture was in the foyer at Brighton Uni’s art block. I found this video clip of proverbial sick man of art, and Pinocchio abuser, Paul McCarthey. Those of you who are familiar with Paul’s work know that his stuff teeters on the edge of what one might call good taste. This footage is one of the funniest, succinct, and least disturbing things I’ve seen him do. No prizes for guessing “what it all means”, an extended visual interpretation of the internal state known as writers block, or that ‘I’m a worthless human being who can’t create anything worth a dime” feeling. We’ve all been there right…guys?
